Description

Breast augmentation intervention is a reliable and safe surgery. It increases breast size and harmonizes the bust with the silhouette of the patient. There are several types of prosthesis: Silicone (with a more natural feel, but which requires regular monitoring) or saline (at risk of deflation).

Care

Breast augmentation is recommended :

• In case of mammary gland development failure (severe stunting) or even complete lack of mammary gland: agenesis or amastia.
• In case of tuberous breast: frequent malformation where the breast is in a tubular shape due to breast narrowed base frame and an area prolapse (large areola and distended).
• For the reconstruction following an ablation after a breast cancer or an accident (mastectomy).
• If congenital malformations of breast.
• If breast asymmetries.
